Wow did this past weekend fly by. boo. I actually slept in until 9:30 both days, it was glorious! I love mellow weekends, they really are the best.
On my super relaxing weekend I was researching some new beauty products I wanted to add to my collection. I tend to restock my make up every 3 months and its almost that time. I love love make up. I love watching tutorials, learning about products, and reading reviews. I also try to vary up my products hanging onto a few key items.
This round I wanted something easy. I haven't been wearing as much make up lately so I wanted something light and quick that I could put on on days I don't want to wear anything. Here is what I came up with.
Benefit You Rebel Light. Back in the day I used the regular You Rebel and it was a little too dark for my complexion so I would have to lighten it up with powder. I am very excited that they finally came out with a lighter one.
2. Hourglass Superficial Waterproof Bronzer I use bronzer daily because my skin is so fair. It just gives a little dusting of color so I don't look ill. However in my experience using many bronzers most disappear off my face in a few hours. I hate reapplying so I tend to just go without for the rest of the day. That was until I found this! Waterproof and is supposed to last all day. The reviews on Sephora were amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on this.
3. Tarte smolderEYES Amazonian clay waterproof liner. I love eyeliner it gives my eyes so much definition when I am not wearing much eyeshadow. But it also fades. The amazonian clay line at Tarte is supposed to last all day, and now even more so with this waterproof formula. I also like how it has the smudger right on the pencil.
4. Beauty Blender. I have been wanting this foundation applicator for months now. I am finally going to order it. I currently use a foundation brush to put my foundation on but I am growing tired of it as I feel it doesn't blend the foundation in all the way. I have heard nothing but rave reviews from multiple make up artists on this product.
5. Korres Butter Than Ever Cheek & Lip Butter Set Butter Than Ever Cheek & Lip Butter Set. I read about this product in Allure this past weekend. I have been on the cream blush path lately and I am intrigued to get both the cheek and separate lip butter set.
As for my other obsession, jewelry, Stella and Dot has come out with their fall line and I absolutely love it. It's very warm with gold tones which is very different from their spring/summer line. As a fun side gig I am a stylist for Stella and Dot and am always so impressed with the quality of their jewelry. Below are the items I purchased for fall. I plan to wear them with casual outfits as well as the holidays when I will dress up a little more. Below are the links, but you can shop via my store without having to have a trunk show (unless you would like one) at www.stelladot.com/erinredmond
