Juicing Fun

I am not sure if anyone else is going through this but I feel like I am a referee in a very tight game of "unwanted hugs" between Claire and my two pugs Charlie and Lily.  Charlie  I am not worried about, he is good about exiting the scene once he sees Claire coming for him, but Lily not so much.

Lily will growl and gently nip Claire when Claire is out of line, and it gives me a heart attack. I feel like I run around all day keeping tabs on these two because even though Lily hates Claire, Lily follows Claire everywhere.

So I am having one of those days watching Claire and the dogs closely. Claire thinks its hysterical when the dogs get annoyed, I need to work on her. Clearly girlfran doesn't get the message. I will take any tips too!

Anyways that has nothing to do with my post. My post is in reference to my earlier blog post on juicers and making homemade juice. You can find this post here Healthy Eating Much?

I finally bought my juicer! I did get the Breville Juicer which you can get here: Breville. The juicer is great, the clean up not so much but what did I expect.

I made the Green Lemonade drink from the Raw Food Diet, you can get book here Raw Food Detox Diet

Here is how it all went down:

My fancy new juicer

Kale, Romaine, 2 Apples, 1 Lemon, Ginger, Celery (not pictured)

Yum Yum

Finished Product, I had enough to share

Claire "yay I love juice" (notice Lily in the corner its like finding Wheres Waldo)
Let me give this a whirl

Claire "this is gross"
And I will leave this right here

So as you can see while I enjoyed the juice (albeit I put in a little too much ginger) Claire was not a fan whatsoever. I will keep trying to get her to turn around since it is probably the only way I will get her to eat her vegetables.
