New Camera Lens and the Babies

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday! I am going strong on my eating well plan yet am too scared to weigh in :) But I am feeling better that is for sure! I will share my progress once I get the guts to weigh myself.

I am really excited however because I finally invested in a new camera lens for my Canon Rebel. I ended up going with the 50 mm 1/4 and its fantastic! The only problem and I am assuming many parents feel the same way, is that I cannot for the life of me get Claire to look at me or smile even for a picture. Not to mention she won't let me touch her hair so she has chronic bed head. Oh well. If you have any tips on getting a toddler to cooporate I would love to hear your advice!

Here are some of the family shots I took last night and today. and I am excited to bring more personal photos and photo reviews to the blog soon!

  1. So sweet.
My advice for picture taking would, be to take a PEZ dispenser and place where you can place an attachable flash. It slides right in. I saw this on Pinterest and I use it when taking pictures of our two year old. He thinks it is hilarious. Maybe finding her favorite character / princess and she will maybe focus for a few seconds for a couple of snaps! :)

And, we bribe with cookies. LOL. I had to do that the other day for a few pics I was using for a scrap book.

    1. Ha ha ha. That's a great idea! I am going to have to go the bribe route because when I ask her to look at me its a no go. hilarious I can't wait to try the PEZ trick. thank you!
