Spring Time Make Up

1. Laura Mercier Luxe Color Portfolio 2. Illamasqua Cream Blusher 3. Chanel Le Blanc De Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base 4. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua 5. Giorgio Armani Sheer Bronzer 6. Buxom Lip Polish

I hope everyone's Wednesday is going great! I have had the most dull annoying headache all day long and I can't seem to shake it. I am going to blame it on allergies, why not. I went to my old spin class this morning and it felt great! Excited to get back into the routine. I try a lot of workouts and mix things up a lot but spinning has always been a favorite of mine. Plus I got my sisters bridesmaids dress and it is a little snug. uggg. I have some work to do.

Anyways I have started my spring make up collection and wanted to share a few items I just love and a few that are on my wish list that I intend to purchase soon. I try to switch up my make up every season. Since it gets so hot here in Fresno, I decided to go with a very light almost tinted moisturizer type of foundation. The Chanel base and light foundation are seriously amazing! The base feels so moisturizing going on and has a nice sheen to it. I put the foundation which has spf 15 in it on my face with my fingers. A little goes a long way. The best part is that it doesn't even feel like I am wearing foundation, feels just like I have moisturizer on which is key in warm weather! I am hoping to make this last all through the fall.

For lips I am in LOVE with Buxom lip polish. It has a cool and tingly feel to it when you put it on and it really lasts a long time. They have tons of colors some have high pigment and some more sheer.

I haven't purchased Laura Mercier make up in a while but I love this palette. I love that you get 3 eye liners in the package.  Plus with the travel I have coming up will be helpful to just throw this in a bag and go.

The cream blush and the bronzer are two brands I have read about a lot lately. Again I hate feeling like I have heavy make up on in hot weather and I have not tried a cream blush before but I am open to it. I have read many reviews from some make up artists and decided to try Illumasqua out. As far as bronzer I am crazy pale. I never tan, get sunburned easily, and it is so hard to find bronzers that don't look too dark on me. Again I read that the Giorgio Armani Bronzer is ideal for very fair skin types and I cannot wait to get my hands on this product!!!

There you have it my spring make up routine! Any good bronzers or self tanners out there I should try? :)

  1. I love the Chanel Vita Lumiere and I've been curious about the illuminating base! I love all things luminizing or illuminating! And Buxom glosses are the best!
