We are hosting Thanksgiving at our house this year and I have finally finished all the ideas for the day. Now to actually execute them. This should be interesting. I have a few good recipes I pulled off of Pinterest which I think will turn out great.
Speaking of Pinterest, I attended a Pinterest party last saturday, which I think is one of the best ideas I have heard of in a long time. Basically you pick a craft and a dish and bring 10 craft items to the party for a gift exchange. I am not crafty at all but managed to make some really cool chalkboard cheese plates! It was actually pretty fun and I now want to do more crafts!
This is short but I wanted to share some highlights over the past month or so:
My son the Viking for Halloween
Halloween with my friend Jessica and her family
Here is Claire and Tom with their buddy Bradford just kicking back before trick or treating
Claire in her princess attire for her school party.
Claire's very first school photograph!
Was so happy to hang out with my friend Erin in San Francisco. Was a blast catching up
Eating lunch at the ferry building next to the creepiest doll I have ever seen
Sweaty dancing out in SF
Claire insisted on wearing goggles. She has been going through a big phase where she wants to pick out her outfits and continually do costume changes throughout the day.
Tom being cute in his baby towel
Our cool Thanksgiving plates
Nik getting out on the golf course while my friend and I sat back and sipped bloody marys.
And we FINALLY painted the dark red room and Claire's hot pink room yay!
